Get on the A10 south towards Bordeaux and exit at junction 37 for Mirambeau.
Drive through Mirambeau on the N137 towards Bordeaux.
You will then go through a small village of 'Petite Noirt', where you will pass an old school on the right hand side,
100m past the school the road bends left where you will see 2 white posts with red bands on the right hand side.
Take this exit, follow the road all the way down until you drive under a bridge which is the A10 (approximately 800m).
Take the next left, signposted 'Puibaille' where the properties can be found on the left hand side.
Calais to Mirambeau
It takes approximately 8 hours to drive down to Mirambeau from Calais as a speed of 80 mph and with the occasional coffee break. We have found it easy using the toll roads, as they are usually empty and they have plenty of service stations to refuel or have a coffee break.
There are 3 airports to choose from. Bordeaux which has the more expensive flights by British Airways. Rochefort is the closest of the three but has limited flights on a one flight a day option if you’re lucky, and the best of the three airports is La Rochelle which is hosted by Ryan Air. You can hire a car at all three of these airports and they are all approximately 1 hour drive away from Mirambeau.
